Volunteering with NWCSA
Join Us in Strengthening Our Community
As a community action program, our strength comes directly from the people we serve. Whether it’s serving on our Board of Directors, offering insight on our Advisory Council, or lending a hand with the day‑to‑day work of the agency, NWCSA depends on community members who are willing to get involved.
Below you’ll find meaningful ways you can support NWCSA as we continue our mission to fight the war on poverty and improve the lives of families throughout our region.
Board of Directors
NWCSA is governed by a Board of Directors representing community members, low-income individuals, and the government sector. Meetings are held virtually every other month. All board members are expected to actively participate in board meetings, fund raising events, and other related meetings and activities. Your commitment, professionalism, and high ethical standards are vital to the stability and future of NWCSA and the population served.
Senior Service Advisory Council
As a requirement of our AmeriCorps Senior RSVP grant, we need to have an advisory council in place. We are currently recruiting members for the Senior Services Advisory Council. The Council will advise on both the RSVP and the Lew Martin Senior Center. Meetings will be held 2 to 4 times per year for about 1 hour in February, June, August, and November. Exact dates and times will be determined by its members. If interested call Beth at 715-292-6400 ext. 1 or email her at bethrsvp@northwest-csa.org.
